Motorist flees after running over a cyclist in Muscat

Muscat: A person has been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for running over and killing a cyclist in Muscat Governorate.

A statement issued online by the ROP said: "Muscat Governorate Police Command has arrested a vehicle driver on charges of running over a cyclist and escaping from the scene of the accident, causing the cyclist's death. The legal procedures are being completed against him."
