Temperature crosses 50 degrees in Oman

Muscat: On Saturday, June 5, 2021, Al Sunainah station in Al Buraimi Governorate recorded the highest temperature in Oman, which reached 50 degrees Celsius.

A statement issued online by the Oman Meteorology said: "Al Sunainah in Al Buraimi Governorate recorded 50.1 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature among the weather stations on Saturday. Dhalkut station in Dhofar Governorate recorded 22.6 degrees as the lowest temperature."
