Patient onboard commercial vessel airlifted to hospital in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman conducted a medical evacuation for a patient onboard a transiting commercial vessel.

The Ministry of Defence said: "This morning, a Royal Air Force of Oman helicopter carried out a medical evacuation at sea for a crew member of a transiting commercial ship belonging to the People’s Republic of China, 40 nautical miles south of Salalah in Dhofar Governorate."

"The patient who was suffering from a critical health condition has been transferred to Salalah hospital to receive the necessary treatment, " Ministry of Defence added
