Muscat: Oman Meteorology has called on fishermen to be careful while at sea due to turbulence caused by rough seas. Isolated rainfall has been forecast over the Hajar mountain range today.

"A warning, as turbulence in the Arabian Sea continues, with waves reaching a maximum height between (3.0-3.5) meters, and expectations that sea waves on the coasts of Musandam and the Sea of Oman will rise to average height reaching their maximum height between (2.0-2.5) meters, starting from tomorrow, Sunday, until Tuesday, so please pay attention and take caution."

The weather forecast for Saturday is clear to partly cloudy skies on the coastal strip of the Governorate of Dhofar and the surrounding mountains with intermittent rain falling on the mountainous heights. Clear skies in general over the rest of the governorates of the Sultanate with the possibility of clouds forming on Al Hajar Mountains that may lead to isolated rain during the afternoon.
