Registration period for Royal Navy of Oman recruitment extended

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has extended the registration period for recruitment to the Royal Navy of Oman till 12 June.

An announcement issued by the Ministry of Labour said: “In reference to the Ministry’s announcement  No (13/2021) issued on 1st June 2021 about the recruitment of nominated officers and new soldiers in the Royal Navy of Oman, the registration period has been extended until Saturday12th June 2021.”

The announcement added that the requirements for three jobs, No 17404, 17406, 17409, have been amended.

For the job role of Information Systems (Programming), No 17404, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in information system programming, programming, computer programming, program engineering, data programming, or Programming and databases with a rating not less than good.

For the post of Cartography (GIS), No17406, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or Geology (GIS), or Geophysics (GSS) with at least a good grade.

For the position of Law, No 17409, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Law or Rights and with a grade of not less than good.
