Scattered rainfall forecast for some parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of scattered rainfall over Dhofar Governorate with windy weather and the possibility of dust storms over the desert and other open areas in Oman on Thursday, Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast.

"Clear skies with some clouds forecast along the coastal area of Dhofar Governorate and adjoining mountains with scattered rainfall. Mainly clear skies over the rest of the Sultanate with a chance of late night to early morning low level clouds along parts of Arabian Sea.There is a chance of dust storms due to strong winds over desert and open areas," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.

Maximum temperature at 45 degrees

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 45 degree Celsius and 33 degrees respectively in Muscat, 40 degrees and 33 degrees in Sohar, 45 degrees and 30 degrees in Rustaq, 44 degrees and 24 degrees in Haima, 47 degrees and 30 degrees in Ibri, and 44 degrees and 32 degrees in Khasab .
