Wadi Al Maawel station in Oman records highest temperature

Muscat: On Tuesday, Wadi Al Maawel station in South Al Batinah Governorate recorded the highest temperature in Oman, stated Oman Meteorology.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Wadi Al Maawel in South Al Batinah Governorate recorded 48.1 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature among the weather stations yesterday. Dhalkut station in Dhofar Governorate recorded 20.9 degrees as the lowest temperature."
