Children above 12 to be included in COVID vaccination drive

Muscat: Children above the age of 12 will be vaccinated as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Health to stop the spread of COVID-19.

The ministry aims to vaccinate 70 percent of its population, a programme which will be implemented in phases in accordance with the National Immunisation Programme against COVID-19, said Badr bin Saif Al Rawahi, the Director of Infectious Diseases Control at the Ministry of Health.
