Muscat: A workshop was organised by the Ministry of Labour to discuss the work system for developing human resources in Oman's sectors.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Labour said: "The ministry organised a workshop on activating the role of supervising bodies in the sectors related to the human resources development policy and training initiatives, in the presence of a number of Excellencies, agents and employees."
"The workshop discussed the work system for developing human resources in the sectors in Oman and the role of the ministry in setting policies and frameworks for the work of sectoral skills units and issuing their licenses. In addition to reviewing the benefits of the economy, which is summarised in an ecosystem based on skills and capabilities depending on competencies to develop human resources and enhance the employment of Omani youth."
