Muscat: The Indian government has decided to extend the ban on international flights till the end of next month.
A statement by the Indian Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said, "The competent authority has further extended the validity of the circular issued on scheduled international commercial passenger services to and from India till 2359 hours on 30 June."
The restrictions will not apply to international only-cargo operations and flights approved by the DGCA. "International scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the authority on a case to case basis," the DGCA said.
