Muscat: The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, took part in the 12th meeting of the Board of Directors of the UNESCO Regional Centre on Urban Water Management (RCUWM).
The Sultanate’s delegation in the virtual meeting was chaired by Eng. Ali Mohammed Al-Abri, Water Resources Undersecretary.
The RCUWM Board Chairman commended the Sultanate’s role in activating the Centre's activities approved since its establishment in 2002.
The meeting reviewed the Centre's activities from 2020 up to this meeting. It also discussed the semi-annual plan for 2022, in addition to proposals for mutual cooperation till 2024. It also reviewed the future aim towards improving the contribution of the RCUWM Board members.
