Muscat: False news has been circulated on social media about a death of a citizen in the Wilayat Sohar, Royal Oman Police said.
A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said: "There is no truth to what is being circulated on social media about a death incident during the gatherings of the citizen in the Wilayat Sohar, and the ROP calls upon everyone to not circulate false news."
