Muscat: Oman participated in the forty-seventh meeting of the World Tourism Organization Committee for the Middle East and the inauguration of the Middle East Regional Office and the Tourism Promotion Conference in Riyadh.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said: "The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, participates in the 47th UNWTO Regional Commission for the Middle East and the inauguration of the Middle East Regional Office. The Conference will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 26th and 27th May 2020"
"Participating in the event a delegation headed by His Excellency Salim Mohammad Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism." added the statement.
