Muscat: The Majlis Al Shura on Monday held its 12th ordinary session of the second annual convening, 9th Term, during which it discussed a proposed draft GCC Law on Combating Commercial Deception, among other issues.
The meeting was chaired by Khalid Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of Majlis Al Shura.
The meeting discussed the report of the Education and Research Committee about a ‘science and Math chain report’ and reviewed replies from government departments on a variety of issues.
The queries include: Providing the Wilayat of Yanqul with a water network, A’Rustaq-Al Awabi dual-carriageway, the establishment of a commerce, industry and investment promotion department in the Wilayat of Al Jazir, the setting up of labour recruitment offices there, options for extending the period of application for land uses and a reply about a project to accommodate Al Kamil W’Al Wafi road in A’Sharqiyah Expressway project.
