Muscat: On behalf of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, His Excellency the Secretary-General received a written letter from the Qatari Minister of Defence.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Defence, (MOD), said: “On behalf of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser bin Ali Al Zaabi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence(MOD), received a written letter from His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State for Defence Affairs in the State of Qatar of the sisterly State of Qatar, related to the military cooperation between the two sisterly countries.
This came during the meeting of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the MOD at his office this morning, with Minister, Plenipotentiary Rashid Saeed Al Khayariin, at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Muscat. The good relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed, and views were exchanged on matters of common interest. The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, and the military attaché at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Muscat.
