Oman's municipality clarifies about a video on social media

Muscat: The municipality of South Al Sharqiyah has clarified about what was circulated on social media regarding the removal of barns in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali.

A statement issued online by the Municipality of South Al Sharqiyah Governorate said: "The Municipality of South Al Sharqiyah followed up on what was circulated on social media platforms about a citizen and his mention about removing barns in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali. The municipality affirms that what the citizen spoke about the abuse of one of the municipality employees is untrue and legal measures will be taken against him."

"The municipality also wishes to clarify that it is in the process of finding a handle for the issue of barns according to the approved systems," the statement added.
