Muscat: The Sultanate will celebrate World Turtle Day on Sunday, the 23rd of May.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, (ONA), said: "The Sultanate, along with the rest of the world, will celebrate tomorrow the World Turtle Day, which falls on the 23rd of May of each year and aims to shed light on the most prominent threats and challenge turtles are exposed to, the best environmental practices for their preservation and the efforts made to protect them."
