Desert areas in Oman witness brisk winds

Muscat: The desert areas in Al Wusta Governorate witness brisk winds with rising dust.
Oman meteorology said: "Active winds are currently being witnessed in the desert areas in Al Wusta Governorate, with the rise of dust and dirt, which may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility."

The Traffic Department also noted the importance of being cautious when driving with sand dunes, saying: “The sand on the road poses a danger, as it is difficult to perceive the edge of the road with unstable tires, and the spreading dust may block other vehicles in the opposite lane, causing serious dangers.”
