Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire comes into effect

Muscat: A ceasefire agreement is in effect in the Gaza Strip started at 2 am today.

Oman TV News said: "A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel entered into force, starting at 2 am on Friday morning, which was reached through an Egyptian mediation."

The security council of the Israeli occupation announced its agreement to a cease-fire, and an official from Hamas affirmed the existence of a mutual and concurrent truce with the Israeli occupation that begins at 2 o'clock on Friday morning.
