Temperature to hit 47 degrees in parts of Oman

Muscat: The weather is generally clear over most of the governorates of Oman with clouds likely to form on the Hajar Mountains during the evening.

Oman Meteorology said: "The weather is generally clear in most of the governorates of the Sultanate, with the possibility of clouds forming on the Hajar Mountains during the evening and the possibility of low clouds forming at the end of the night and early morning on parts of the coasts of the Arabian Sea and the possibility of dust rising in the desert areas of the governorates of Al Wusta and Dhofar."

The temperatures in the Wilayat of Seeb are 44/32 and in the Wilayat of Salalah 33/26. The highest temperature expected today is 47 in Fahud, and the lowest is 17 degrees in Jabal Shams.
