Scattered rains predicted over parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of sporadic rains over Al Hajar Mountains, Oman Meteorology said on Thursday.

Oman Meteorology said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with a chance of cloud formations over Al Hajar Mountains which may result in isolated rain towards afternoon. Also chances of late night to early morning low level clouds along parts of the coastal areas of Arabian Sea."

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 44 degree Celsius and 32 degrees in Muscat, 45 degrees and 32 degrees in Sohar, 44 degrees and 25 degrees in Haima, 44 degrees and 29 degrees in Nizwa, 44 degrees and 30 degrees in Ibri, and 41 degrees and 24 degrees in Thamrait.
