Muscat: The State Audit Institution has participated in the seventeenth meeting of the Professional and Supervisory Standards Committee of the Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI).
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, (ONA), said: ”The State Audit Institution participates in the seventeenth meeting of the Professional and Supervisory Standards Committee of the Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) via video communication, and with the participation of the committee members.”
The two-day meeting will discuss a number of topics on the agenda, including presenting the final report on the results of the questionnaire related to applying standards according to the performance measurement framework and discussing its recommendations, in addition to considering the implementation of the operational plan and the exceptional plan of the committee in confronting the repercussions of Covid 19, in addition to updating The committee's plan for the year 2021-2022, in addition to preparing and reviewing the operational plan for 2021.
The meeting will review the proposal to merge the “Articles Framework” note and the “Product Quality Assurance Procedures / Publications of the Professional Standards and Supervisory Committee”, and consider translating the draft of INTOSAI Manual 5330.
During the meeting, a representative of the committee will be appointed in the team that will be tasked with preparing the organization’s strategic plan for the time period 2023-2028, while discussing the inclusion of a draft guide on evaluating public policies within the committee’s work.
