Attempt to smuggle drugs into Oman foiled

Muscat: Al Mazunah customs has foiled an attempt to smuggle more than 300 packages of the drug khat into Oman.

A statement issued online by Oman Customs said: "The customs of Al Mazunah port thwarted the smuggling of 360 packages of the drug khat, which the smuggler had hidden in the reserve fuel tank."
