Scattered rain over parts of Oman expected

Muscat: Scattered rain and occasional thunderstorms are expected over Al Hajar Mountains, Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast.

The weather forecast stated: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of cloud formation over Al Hajar Mountains which may result in isolated rain and occasionally thunderstorms towards afternoon. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds along parts of the coastal areas of Arabian Sea and Oman Sea."

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 43 degree Celsius and 29 degrees in Muscat, 44 degrees and 29 degrees in Sohar, 45 degrees and 24 degrees in Haima, 42 degrees and 28 degrees in Nizwa, 43 degrees and 27 degrees in Ibri, and 43 degrees and 26 degrees in Thamrait.
