Oman Human Rights takes part in ANNHRI meeting

Muscat: The Omani Human Rights Commission participated in Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions (ANNHRI) meeting about the events in Palestine.

A statement issued by The Omani Human Rights Commission said that the Commission participated via visual communication in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions (ANNHRI), which was held in light of the current events in Palestine and the Israeli aggression and escalation of it against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip and occupied Jerusalem.

During the meeting, the events and violations that affected Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories were discussed. The Independent Commission for Human Rights in the State of Palestine also presented proposals to support the Palestinian people by promoting the humanitarian media message and conveying it to all human rights organizations in the world and contributing to supporting Arab efforts, in general, to stand by the brotherly Palestinian people who are struggling for their legitimate rights.

Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al Kalbani, Secretary-General of the Omani Human Rights Commission, Dr. Hilal bin Saeed Al-Shaidani, member of the committee, and a number of employees of the Omani Human Rights Commission participated in the meeting.
