Isolated rainfall predicted over parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of isolated rain and occasional thunderstorms over Al Hajar Mountains, Oman Meteorology said.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of clouds formation over Al Hajar Mountains which may result in isolated rain and occasionally thunderstorms towards afternoon is expected. Chances of dust rising winds over deserts and open areas of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates with late night to early morning low level clouds along parts of the coastal areas of Arabian Sea and Oman Sea can be expected."

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 40 degree Celsius and 29 degrees in Muscat, 37 degrees and 29 degrees in Sohar, 43 degrees and 23 degrees in Haima, 42 degrees and 29 degrees in Nizwa, 43 degrees and 30 degrees in Ibri, and 42 degrees and 25 degrees in Thamrait.
