Clear skies predicted over most parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of isolated rain over Al Hajar Mountains, Oman Meteorology said on Sunday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of cloud formation over Al Hajar Mountains which may result in isolated rain towards afternoon with chances of dust rising winds over deserts and open areas of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates is expected. There may also be the possibility of late night to early morning low level clouds along parts of the coastal areas of Arabian Sea and Oman Sea."

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 36 degree Celsius and 30 degrees in Muscat, 37 degrees and 28 degrees in Sohar, 45 degrees and 23 degrees in Haima, 41 degrees and 28 degrees in Nizwa, 43 degrees and 28 degrees in Ibri, and 43 degrees and 26 degrees in Thamrait.
