1. Visit the exhibition
Shopping at Muscat Festival has a vibe of its own, with a very traditional, souq-inspired atmosphere. You can start your shopping spree from 4pm and get a variety of items, from perfumes, frankincense, and handmade lotions, to spices and savoury snacks, to clothes and precious stones.
2. Taste Omani halwa
Another ritual at the festival is making homemade Omani halwa. Stop by their many stalls and watch how it’s traditionally made, and then make sure to taste it. We promise you that you’ll end up buying boxes of this sweet treat.
3.Watch the live shows
Enjoy live performances from talented artists from around the globe, from singing to circus, to magic shows. It’s the most entertaining part of the festival.
4. See the fireworks
Witness colourful blasts adorn Muscat skies every night at 8pm. Watching the display of fireworks never gets old, and this year is no different.
5. Jump on a ride
The amusement park area has many rides and games for all ages, from scary ones for the adults, to more toned-down versions for the kids.
