Muscat: There is a possibility of a tropical depression to be formed within the next 24 hours in the southeast of the Arabian Sea, Oman Meteorology said on Thursday.
A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said, "An area of low air pressure has formed in the southeast of the Arabian Sea, with the possibility of it deepening into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours. The specialists at the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre weather analysis are following the developments of the tropical situation."
