Muscat: Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) has invited everyone to watch for the crescent moon of Shawwal for this year, on the evening of Wednesday the 29th of Ramadan 1442 H, which corresponds to the 12 of May 2021.
An announcement issued online by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) said: “ The Ministry invites everyone to watch for of the crescent moon of Shawwal for this year, on the evening of Wednesday the 29th of Ramadan 1442 H, which corresponds to the 12 of May 2021.”
“ While doing so, adhere to the instructions issued by the Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism of dealing with developments resulting from the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).” continued the announcement.
The announcement added:” In the event that the crescent is seen, please call the phones of the offices of the Walies, or the judges, or on the following phones, 24644070, 24644037, 24694400, 24644015, 24644004, 24695551 and fax number 24693339”
