Expats arrested for selling fruits without licenses in Oman

Muscat: Dhofar Municipality has arrested expats for selling vegetables and fruits without licenses and health requirements.

A statement issued online by Dhofar Municipality said: "The civil inspection team in Dhofar municipality has arrested expatriate workers engaged in the sale of vegetables and fruits in a manner contrary to the health requirements, as these workers store the exhibits in unhealthy ways and an inappropriate environment to preserve their quality and safety and sell them without health licenses in several locations in the wilayat of Salalah  ."

"The team, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, confiscated all stored vegetables and fruits offered for sale and took the necessary measures regarding these violations," the statement added.
