Oman sees massive rise in fixed and mobile phone subscriptions

Muscat: Oman witnessed over 6 million mobile phone subscriptions by the end of March 2021.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The total number of fixed phone subscriptions in Oman reached over 590,000 subscriptions by the end of last March, while the total number of mobile phone subscriptions exceeded 6,109,000."

"Statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information indicate that the number of active subscriptions of the mobile broadband Internet has increased to more than 1.5 million subscriptions by the end of March 2021," the statement added.
