Royal Hospital ready to deal with emergencies due to weather

Muscat: The Royal Hospital has confirmed its readiness to provide necessary medical services for dealing with the expected heavy rains over Muscat Governorate .

A statement issued online by Royal Hospital said: "Based on alerts issued by the Civil Aviation Authority about the expected heavy rains in the Governorate of Muscat, the Directorate General of the Royal Hospital confirms its readiness to provide necessary medical services."

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said in alert issued on Saturday: "Thunderstorms accompanied by active to very fast winds (30- 45 knots) and hail is expected to fall over parts of Governorates of Muscat, South and North Al Batinah , South and North Al Sharqiyah , Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah in the coming hours. "
