Muscat Municipality begins road reopening efforts

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has begun efforts to reopen roads in Al-Amirat which had been closed due to rainfall. The civic body urged users to take caution while travelling on this stretch and to obey all road signs.

A statement issued online by Muscat Municipality said: "We have started our efforts to open roads in Al Amirat following the rainfall. Please pay close attention while driving and obey all road signs."

In another statement Muscat Municipality confirmed: "We will work as fast as possible to ensure proper restoration of streets, however, we advise drivers to be cautious as the surface is still wet and the wind is still blowing. Below snapshots from east Muscat, Al Amirat & Qurayyat."
