Muscat: Street vendors will be granted a permit to deliver restaurant orders and food items during the night movement ban period in all governorates of the Sultanate.

However, the Government Communication Centre (GC) said in a statement that new permits will not be issued in the governorates of Muscat and Dhofar, “because delivery companies cover all wilayats and some restaurants have previous permits.”

GC also issued an explanation regarding the food delivery permits during the night movement ban between 7 pm until 4 am.

1- A permit to deliver orders is granted to street vendors to transport food in all governorates of the Sultanate.

2- No new permit is granted to deliver requests for restaurants and cafes in the governorates of Muscat and Dhofar because food delivery companies cover all the states of the two governorates, and previous permits are available for some restaurants and cafes to deliver orders.
