Can restaurants, cafes deliver food 24 hours during lockdown in Oman?

Muscat: Restaurants and Cafes can deliver orders 24 hours from May 8 to May 15, the Government Communication Centre said.  

1- Delivery is done through licenced food delivery companies, and in the event that food delivery companies are not available at the facility site, a request is submitted to the competent municipality, provided that the person who is authorized to deliver is an employee or owner of the facility.

2- The representative of food delivery company is obligated to deliver orders within the authorized jurisdiction only.

3- Food delivery companies should placing a company label on the means of Transport with the name of the company written on it, the term of the license, and the geographical scope of the delivery.

4- Regarding street vendors they must have previously obtained a (street vendor) license from the competent authorities and submitting an application to the competent municipality to obtain a sale and delivery permit for the license holder only, or contracting with one of the licensed food delivery companies.
