Muscat: A strong gale accompanied by thunderstorms lashed Muscat on Monday night bringing down the temperature.
Oman Meteorology has announced the continuation of thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in some governorates of the Sultanate.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, (ONA), says: "The latest updates of the Omani meteorology forecast continuing activity of thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and hail on the coasts of North and South Al Batinah with the chances of moving towards the governorates of Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah, North and South Al Sharqiyah."
