Three citizens in Oman honoured for assistance in rescue operations

Muscat: Three citizens were honoured by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for rendering assistance in search and rescue operations for a number of tourists who went missing in the wilayat of Ja’alan Bani Bu Ali.

The ROP said in a statement, “The Assistant Commander of South Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command honours three citizens for their cooperation with policemen in search and rescue operations for a number of tourists who went missing in the Ras Al Ruwais area in the Wilayat of Ja’alan Bani Bu Ali.”

“This step is part of the police general command’s keenness to strengthen cooperation between citizens, residents and police officers,” the statement added.
