Muscat: There will be a rainy cloud cover with thunder over governorates within the Hajar mountain range extending to include the coast of Oman Sea due to a trough of low pressure (Al Khair Trough).
A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said, "The Sultanate’s airspace will continue to be affected by a trough of low pressure, (Al Khair Trough) until Saturday, a rainy cloud cover over most of the Sultanate’s governorates with thunder cells over the governorates within the Hajar mountain range extending to include the coast of Sea of Oman and the possibility of sporadic rain, sometimes thunderstorms, in parts of Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates."
