Weather warning issued in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has issued a warning for farmers, livestock breeders and beekeepers regarding the trough that will affect the Sultanate starting from Thursday, 29th April till Saturday, 1st May.

A statement issued online by Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources said: "The Ministry calls on farmers, livestock breeders and beekeepers to take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of their livestock and their beehives, to keep them away from the valleys' streams, and not to leave the beehives in low-lying areas because of the Sultanate's airspace being affected by a trough of low pressure (Al Khair Trough).
