Ramadan Special: Be polite and considerate to everyone

If in recent times you have been rude or inconsiderate to a colleague or even a stranger, the Holy Month of Ramadan gives you the chance to change yourself by being polite and considerate to everyone you meet and interact with this month. Whether a co-worker or a stranger you meet in the elevator, treat others with respect and kindness.

Be thoughtful of others's feelings. Acknowledge graciously when someone helps you by saying thank you. Be patient in listening to people. The world is going through lot of suffering and its important to listen to people and their plights. Forming your own opinions or dismissing theirs without understanding their situation is being insensitive and disrespectful.

Health tip

Have wholemeal bread, brown rice that are complex carbohydrates and provide the body with energy, fibre and minerals. Compared to sugary foods and desserts that burn quickly, they provide more energy.

Ramadan words
