Cloudy weather predicted over parts of Oman

Muscat: Thundershowers are expected over the Al Hajar Mountains and surrounding areas as well as over Dhofar governorate and adjacent coastal areas on Tuesday, Oman Meteorology said.

Today's weather forecast states: "Advection of medium and high clouds over most of the Sultanate with chances of cloud development and thundershowers over Al Hajar Mountains and surroundings and over Dhofar governorate and adjacent coasts toward afternoon. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along Arabian Sea coast."

The aerial photo shows medium and high cloud advection over most governorates of the Sultanate, with low clouds over parts of Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.
