Citizen airlifted to hospital in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman has conducted a medical evacuation for a citizen who was suffering from a critical health condition. She was transferred from Musandam Governorate to Muscat Governorate.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said, “Yesterday evening, a helicopter of the  Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation operation for a female citizen suffering from a critical health condition. She was transferred from Khasab Hospital in Musandam Governorate to the Royal Hospital in Muscat Governorate to receive the necessary specialised treatment."

"This comes within the framework of the humanitarian services and national efforts provided by the Sultan's Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence to citizens and residents on the homeland, side by side with the rest of other government institutions,” the statement added.
