Muscat: There are chances of thundershowers over the Al Hajar mountains and Dhofar governorate on Monday, Oman Meteorology said.

Today's weather forecast states, "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chance of cloud development and thundershowers over Al Hajar mountains and Dhofar governorate towards afternoon. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches over South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates."

The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 39 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees in Muscat Governorate, 36 degrees and 29 degrees in the wilayat of Sohar and 40 degrees and 27 degrees in the wilayat of Ibri , 39 degrees and 26 degrees in the wilayat of Nizwa and 40 degrees and 29 degrees in the wilayat of Rustaq.
