Muscat: A fire broke out in an apartment in Muscat governorate and rescue teams managed to rescue a number of people trapped, the Public Authority of Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) announced.
According to the authority, the fire did not result in any injuries.
PACDA said in a statement online: "The teams of the civil defence and ambulance managed to control a fire that broke out in an apartment in Al-Ghubra area in Wilayat of Boucher. The teams that dealt with the incident were able to evacuate the building and rescue those trapped with the help of a hydraulic crane."
