Rains forecast for some parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of scattered rainfall over the Al Hajar mountains and Dhofar governorate on Sunday, Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast.

The forecast said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chance of cloud development and rain over Al Hajar mountains and Dhofar governorate towards afternoon. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches over South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates."

"The aerial photos show continuing opportunities for cumulus clouds formation (today) over Al Hajar mountains and parts of Dhofar Governorate, and chances of scattered rain or  thunderstorms,” Oman Meteorology added.
