MSX index ends marginally higher

Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) gained 0.7 points, comprising a rise by 0.02 per cent to close at ‪3,697.35 points, compared to the last session, which stood at ‪‪‪3,696.63 points.

The trading value stood at OMR3,833,710 comprising a drop of 19.5 per cent, compared to the last session, which stood at OMR4,765,381.

The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value increased by 0.017 per cent to reach about OMR20.64 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR623,000), comprising 16.26 per cent.

The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR577,000, comprising 15.05 per cent. The net non-Omani investment rose by 1.21 per cent to OMR46,000.
