Muscat: More than 10,000 trees have been planted across Oman by the OQ company as part of its Corporate Social Investments initiatives and in alignment with the National Initiative for Planting Wild trees.
A statement issued online by OQ company said: "OQ Green Initiative aims at planting half million trees across Oman and in areas where OQ operates. This initiative comes as part of OQ’s Corporate Social Investments initiatives and in alignment with the National Initiative for Planting Wild trees and in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and Environment Authority. Till date, 10,388 trees have been planted by 685 volunteers."
