Sur referral hospital in Oman to run virtual clinic

Muscat: The Sur Referral Hospital will activate a virtual clinic through video conferencing to help patients follow up on health issues and to dispense proper medical advice to them.

A statement issued online by the Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate said: "Sur Referral Hospital is now activating a virtual clinic through which visual communication is made with patients to follow up on their health condition and to dispense appropriate medications. Dr. Khaled Al-Saadi, Director General, praised this experience that saves time and effort needed to travel a distance for the patients."
