Scattered rainfall over Dhofar's coastal areas expected

Muscat: There are chances of scattered rain over Dhofar's coastal areas and the adjacent mountains during the evening period, Oman Meteorology said on Wednesday.

Today's weather forecast said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with clouds advection over Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates can be expected. Chance of clouds formation over coastal areas of Dhofar governorate and the adjacent mountains which may give light isolated rain during evening. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along the coastal areas of Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates. Chance of cloud development over Al Hajar Mountains."

"Latest aerial photos show clouds advection and condensation over Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates may cause scattered rains," Oman Meteorology added
